I am a qualified translator/interpreter with 11 years professional experience. As a native Russian, I am most comfortable translating from English into Russian but I also often translate from Russian into English.
When translating first and foremost I am guided  by accuracy in terms of linguistic portrayal and timeliness.  I take translation seriously. For that reason I'm a full member of the Union of Translators of Russia (Union de traducteurs du Russia; for more information on the organization click here ) and a paying member of the professional portal ProZ.com .

I graduated from Voronezh State University, Russia in 2001 with an MA in translation and interpreting, summa cum laude, final thesis being "Translation of Phraseological Units". This included a 6 months studying at Harriot-Watt University (Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies), Scotland, and at Bath University, England, as well as working as a part-time translator at Polarnet Project ltd.(www.polarnetproject.com).
In 2006 I graduated from All-Russia Academy of Foreign Trade with a degree in International Economics, final thesis being "Economic Security of the Russian Federation".
